The PACTS research group is working with patients with sickle cell disease, and their families and health workers to find solutions to, and overcome, the barriers they face in accessing good quality care. Our research collaboration consists of adult and pediatric clinicians and experts in social science/patients centered implementation research, mapping and epidemiology and public/media engagement who, alongside their research, will train researchers and journalists to improve sickle cell disease management and knowledge.
