Abuja, Nigeria – As part of our mission to bridge the gap between clinical research and community understanding, PACTS Africa is proud to showcase a recent media engagement featuring our collaborative partner at the University of Abuja.
Amplifying Patient-Centered Voices
In a special segment of the media program "Untangle," Dr. Imam Abubakar, a Public Health Physician at the Centre of Excellence in Sickle Cell Disease Research and Training (CESRTA), University of Abuja, provided an in-depth exploration of the medical and social landscape of Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).
Dr. Abubakar’s appearance aligns with the core PACTS objective: to empower patients and health workers through clear communication and evidence-based education.
