At each facility, a Research Coordinator leads a team of healthcare providers to conduct Standards-Based Audits (SBAs). These audits assess adherence to clinical best practices, drive the uptake of essential SCD treatments, and promote early newborn screening—ultimately reducing morbidity and mortality.
