Participatory Action Cycles (PACs)

Each of the six facilities is surrounded by a community. From this community, a Research Coordinator brings together a team of adolescents/adults with SCD, caregivers, and community influencers to form a Participatory Action Cycle (PAC) group. These groups engage in community sensitization efforts to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and address local barriers to accessing SCD care.
