Suraj Yawnumah Abubakar

Suraj Yawnumah Abubakar is the Participatory Action Cycle (PAC) Lead for the Ghana Site. Suraj is a Health Research Officer with the Sickle Cell Unit of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) where he has developed skills in research (hospital-based and community based observational and interventional studies). He is also experienced in administrative procedures and provides assistance in both clinical and non-clinical research in the Hospital. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) from Ghana. He also provides research design and management support to staff in their research projects and also training of other junior officers in research skills. Suraj also has a special interest in Health Data Science. He has designed and currently manages databases being used in the collection of both cross-sectional and longitudinal studies cutting across several medical specialties.
