Pauline Musukwa Sambo

Zambia Advisor/ Capacity Strengthening lead

Pauline Musukwa Sambo is a Consultant Paediatrician at the University Teaching Hospital-Children’s Hospital with 20 years of experience in Haematology. She is also Honorary Lecturer in the School of Medicine, University of Zambia for the last 20 years.  Pauline has conducted research for and networking with several Non-Governmental international Organizations like UNICEF,CIDRZ , CHAI as well as Ministry of Health. The research has been both facility based and community based. Currently, Pauline is Co-Investigator in a collaborative study between Zambia and Zimbabwe and the SickleInAfrica Consortium, supervising the establishment of an Electronic Sickle Cell Registry in Zambia, as well as other Consortium Studies. In the PACTS study Pauline is an Advisor, Co-Investigator and lead person in Zambia in for Capacity Strengthening in Implemenation Research. Pauline also provides support in supervision of  sub-study 1 and 2 as well as local supervision support for the PhD student under PACT.
