Moono Tuchili

Zambia Program Manager

Moono is the Program Manager for the PACTS project in Zambia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s in Development Studies, has completed Good Clinical Practice training, and is registered with the National Health Research Authority.

 

She plays a central role in ensuring that research initiatives align with national and international regulatory and ethical standards, including oversight of protocol compliance and stakeholder engagement. Moono is also instrumental in fostering collaborations between researchers, healthcare providers, community members, and policymakers, ensuring the project produces evidence-based outcomes that inform policy and improve health systems.

 

With a growing interest in health research, Moono is passionate about becoming a well-grounded health researcher and project manager. She aspires to contribute meaningfully to public health research, with a particular focus on sickle cell disease, a critical but often overlooked condition affecting many communities in Zambia. Through her work with PACTS, she seeks to advance locally driven, ethical, and impactful research that not only generates new knowledge but also improves the lives of individuals and families affected by SCD.
