Capacity Strengthening Lead

Justin is a behavioural scientist whose current research activities focus on the design, measurement and evaluation of programmes designed to strengthen research capacity in low- and middle-income countries. In addition, he maintains a broad interest in implementation research designed to strengthen health systems, disease control programmes and community-based health improvement initiatives. Justin will coordinate the activities relating to strengthening the capacity of institutions for implementation research. With Imelda Bates he will lead the baseline assessment of capacity for implementation research in PACTS’ partners’ institutions, and work with them to develop and deliver a plan to enhance capacity and fill any gaps.
